Henry Lau is an eminent Canadian singer, musician, actor, songwriter, model, entertainer, composer, music producer, and dancer mostly active in South Korea and China.

Likely, he debuted in 2008 as a member of Super Junior-M. Additionally, aside from group activities, he has also produced several songs for various artists, and television dramas and is a part of a composing team Noize Bank.

Talking about his profession, on September 20, 2007, the R&B/rock song ‘Don’t Don’ was released by the Korean boy band ‘Super Junior’ for their second album ‘Don’t Don’. The violin part in the song was contributed by Henry.

Whereas, starting from 2007, he has appeared in several Chinese and Korean variety TV shows including ‘Star King’ (2007), ‘Hello Counselor’ (2013), ‘Happy Together (2014), ‘We Got Married (2015), and ‘I Live Alone (2017).

South Korean entertainment company S.M. Entertainment declared in October 2007 that in 2008 Henry would make his debut as a member of the Chinese-South Korean boy band ‘Super Junior-M’.

It is a sub-group of Super Junior China that became the first international music group in the history of the Chinese music industry to have both members of Chinese and Korean descent.

The other dramas he featured included ‘My Sweet City’ (2013), ‘Persevere, Goo Hae-Ra’ (2015), and ‘Oh My Venus’ (2015).

Eventually, Henry appeared as a rapper in tracks by other artists like Zhang Li Yin and Jonghyun and Jino; rearranged the song ‘Baby’ by Justin Bieber and performed it for the Super Show 3 Tour.

It premiered at the San Sebastián International Film Festival on September 21, 2013.

Henry Lau along with Gen Neo, Neil Dallas, and Isaac Han formed a music production team ‘Noize Bank’.

It produced and composed two songs ‘Go’ and ‘It’s You’ that was included on January 7, 2013, and released a second studio album of ‘Super Junior-M’ titled ‘Break Down’.

On June 7, 2013, S.M. Entertainment released Henry’s debut solo EP ‘Trap’ in South Korea.

The Chinese version of the song was released on August 14, 2013. Whereas, his second EP ‘Fantastic’ was released by S.M. Entertainment in South Korea on July 14, 2014.

In August 2021, Henry Lau became one of the four-team captains on the fourth season of Street Dance of China [zh], alongside Wang Yibo, Lay Zhang, and Han Geng.

In the same month, Henry Lau released the Roy Wang collaboration song “Home,” which he co-wrote for Wang’s album Summer Time.

Henry Lau won Level 10 violin and piano at the Canadian Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Regional Gold Medal, he won the 10th Anniversary Commemorative Awards for Outstanding Achievement at Jean Lumb Awards.

Likewise, he won Korea-Japan Top Sales Album “Trap” Mini Album at Hong Kong IFPI Awards, he also won  Best New Artiste from Asia at Singapore Entertainment Awards, he won Most Popular K-Pop Music Video “Trap” at Singapore Entertainment Awards.

Similarly, he won  Best Male Dance Artist, and Best Popular Idol at HK Metro Radio Mandarin Hits Music Awards.
